Comcare has recently developed an e-learning module to aid managers in acquiring more knowledge on the new work health and safety (WHS) legislation. It includes information for managers to assist them in focusing on their roles and responsibilities under the WHS laws.
The latest module builds on the worker module released earlier and includes:
- An overview of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth) (WHS Act) as it applies to the Commonwealth jurisdiction
- Information that assists managers to understand how they can make a difference to health and safety in their workplace
- Interactions and scenarios
- Multiple file formats
- A statement of completion
All agencies and organisations covered by the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth) are eligible to receive once CD each. An online registration form has to be completed to register for the manager e-learning modules.
