Two workers were killed on Monday in a workplace accident on a drilling rig off Victoria’s southwest coast.
According to the Herald Sun, a 60-year-old man from Scotland and a 32-year-old man from the Northern Territory were drilling a gas well, southeast of Warrnambool when the accident happened.
Australian Workers Union (AWU) state secretary Cesar Melhem said that the victims were struck by a piece of moving machinery.
