CRS Australia offers employment for people with a disability in partnership with employers and provides assessment services to those that have a disability, injury or health condition.
CRS is a part of the Government Department of Human Services and is committed to placing people in safe workplaces that have injury prevention and management procedures and management.
At the Award Ceremonies, held at Etihad Stadium, the Minister for Human Services Senator Kim Carr applauded the employers who received the awards for their dedication to preserving job opportunities for people with a disability, injury or health condition.
The award winners for providing sustainable work opportunities were BIG W, Big Garage (Bairnsdale) and Hire a Hubby (Hoppers Crossing) in the large, medium and small categories whilst Aegis Aspire won the partnership award.
Meredith Hudson was awarded the individual achievement award and the State Library of Victoria the Workplace Safety award.
