Nominations are now open for the 2012 Seacare Awards. The Awards aim to recognise and acknowledge the positive and successful initiatives done by employers, operators, seafarers and others who are leading the way in best practice OHS, rehabilitation and return to work systems and programs.
Nominations are encouraged from all employers, employees and others who contribute to the Seacare scheme. Below are the 2012 award categories:
Category One – Best Workplace Health and Wellbeing Program
Category Two – Best Workplace Health and Safety Management System
Category Three – Best Solution to an Identified Workplace Health and Safety Issue
Category Four – Best Individual Contribution to Health and Safety
Category Five – Best Health and Safety Representative of the Year
Category Six – Best Rehabilitation and Return to Work Program
The above-mentioned awards provide an opportunity for individuals and organisations to display their achievements and show their commitment to workplace health, safety and rehabilitation.
Nominations close Monday, 23 July 2012. Winners will be announced during a gala dinner in Sydney on Wednesday 24 October 2012.
