The finalists for the 2018 WorkSafe Awards have been announced.
SafeWork NSW has announced the finalists in its annual work health and safety awards.
Winners of the 2018 Safe Work and Return to Work Awards have been recognised at a gala luncheon at the Royal International Convention Centre in Brisbane on Tuesday.
A Toowoomba-based drilling company is one of 35 finalists in the 2018 Safe Work and Return to Work Awards.
The awards recognise achievement in delivering safer and healthier workplaces in a jurisdiction covering 400,000 workers and 200 employers.
Safe Work Australia is offering between $2,000 and $20,000 to support projects that will improve occupational health and safety for workers.
The finalists for this year’s Queensland Safe Work and Return to Work Awards have been announced.
The awards recognise those workplaces which go above and beyond to prevent workplace injuries and help workers with injury rehab.
Judging process will commence in July. Winners will be announced at the Awards for Excellence Ceremony on Thursday 25 October 2018.
