A quad bike crash at a property in Bundaberg north has left a woman nursing serious head injuries.
Paramedics arrived at the scene of the incident shortly before 11.15am Wednesday and treated the woman before she was flown to hospital in a stable condition.
Last Sunday, another woman was taken to hospital following a quad bike crash that left her with serious facial and back injuries. The incident occurred at a property in Wodonga, approximately 300 kilometres north-east of Melbourne.
As of 1 November 2014, fourteen people have been killed this year in quad bike related incidents. And according to figures from Safe Work Australia, seven of these deaths were the result of a roll over. There were 21 quad bike related fatalities in 2013, 19 in 2012 and 20 fatalities in 2011.
