A man is nursing serious leg injuries following a quad bike crash in Leeman, approximately 300 kilometres north of Perth.
The man was riding the bike on a rough road when he reportedly lost control and fell.
He was airlifted to a Perth hospital.
The Friday night incident is the latest in a series of incidents involving quad bikes, that have occurred in the last two weeks.
About eight days ago, an eight-year-old girl was seriously injured after a quad bike crash at Cherbourg, approximately 250 kilometres north-west of Brisbane. Paramedics treated the girl at the scene before taking her to a local hospital. And about 10 days ago, a woman suffered head injuries following a quad bike crash at a property in Bundaberg north. The woman was treated at the scene before being flown to hospital in a stable condition.
On December 14th this year, a woman suffered serious facial and back injuries after she fell from a quad bike in northeast Victoria. Work Cover is still probing the incident.
