Emergency services were called to a farm in Jerrawa after a man was injured in an incident involving a farm vehicle on Friday afternoon.

The man in his 50s was injured after a farm vehicle reportedly rolled at around 2pm.

He was flown to Royal North Shore Hospital for treatment.

The NSW agricultural industry is one of the State’s highest risk industries.

Farmers and other agricultural workers make up just 2.6 percent of the Australian workforce, but – on average – make up 20 percent of workplace fatalities every year, with the annual cost of injuries in NSW totalling $31 million.
