Workplace injury prompts SafeWork investigation

SafeWork NSW is investigating an incident in which a man severed the tops of two of his fingers in a workplace incident on Friday morning.

Police and paramedics were called to the Tamworth business at about 11am after reports of a workplace incident involving machinery.

The victim was taken to Tamworth Hospital to be treated for his injuries.

He was transported in a stable condition.
