A teenage boy is dead, another seriously injured, after being electrocuted while moving farm equipment in far north Queensland.

The boys reportedly came into contact with powerlines while they were moving irrigation pipes on a farm at Tolga.

He was later flown to Townsville Hospital, where he remained in a stable condition Saturday afternoon.
