Man Airlifted After Quad Bike Crash on Tasmania’s West Coast

A man has been airlifted to hospital following a quad bike crash on Tasmania’s West coast on Saturday.

Police said the man crashed his quad bike in Temma at around 12:20 pm.

The 42-year-old man was flown to Royal Hobart Hospital by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.

An investigation into the cause of this incident is ongoing, according to police.

Safe Work Australia figures show there were 10 quad bike fatalities in Australia in 2017.
