Woman airlifted after mustering incident

A woman mustering cattle has been airlifted to hospital after she fell from a horse and injured her neck.

The incident happened on Wednesday morning.

The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was called to a cattle station north-east of Mt Isa, around 9:30am.

The woman in her 20s was treated at the scene by the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) Flight Paramedic before being flown to Mt Isa Hospital.

She travelled in a stable condition.
