A truck which was carrying compost has reportedly rolled over on the Gatton-Esk Road overpass early Thursday morning.
The truck driver was lucky to have survived the incident and suffered from minor injuries. According to reports, the truck carrying soil was travelling west when it veered to the right into the east-bound traffic. It eventually rolled and came to rest just 2 kilometres west of the Gatton-Esk Rd overpass.
The driver managed to go out of his vehicle and emergency crews rushed him to the Gatton Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.
Authorities closed a portion of the lane allowing traffic to pass through. An investigation into the incident in order to determine the cause of the crash followed.
