The Centre for Work Health and Safety has joined forces with the Griffith University Safety Science Innovation Lab to work on improving safety culture within the manufacturing industry.

Manufacturing businesses are encouraged to develop and trial a safety culture toolkit that includes a free safety culture survey, results report and debriefing; as well as an online training course for supervisors and managers.

The toolkit aims to boost safety culture in the manufacturing sector, for different sized businesses across Australia.

To participate, managers and workers will have to complete a short safety culture survey at two separate schedules (between May and October 2019).An online training course will be offered for free to young leaders and workers.

Those interested to get involved in this project must register here.
