A man is recovering in hospital after he was injured while cutting down trees, south of Gladstone.
The man, aged in his twenties, was reportedly struck by a large limb of a falling tree Tuesday morning.
He was knocked about five metres across the ground.
RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was called to the scene just before 12:30pm.
The man was treated at the scene by Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics before the aeromedical crew arrived.
He was flown to Bundaberg Hospital, with upper body injuries.
He travelled in a stable condition.
