Truck rolls, trapping man underneath

A worker has been taken to hospital after a truck rolled on top of him at a Sydney worksite.

The incident happened on Tuesday morning.

The man suffered upper limb injuries following the incident at St Leonards.

Emergency services stabilised the machine using an excavator, airbags and blocks before digging under to release the man.

Once freed, the man in his 30s was treated at the scene by ambulance paramedics before being transported to hospital in a stable condition.
