Man airlifted after falling through roof south of Taree

A man was airlifted to a Newcastle hospital after falling through a roof in north-east New South Wales.

The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon, south of Taree.

The man in his 40s suffered possible spinal injuries.

He was flown to John Hunter Hospital by the Westpac Rescue helicopter.

He travelled in a stable condition.
