Carpenter in hospital after serious fall

SafeWork NSW is investigating an incident in which a Lukemba carpenter was injured after he fell approx 2.7m, through a void, to the concrete below.

The 56-year-old man suffered multiple fractures following the incident on Wednesday.

He was taken to hospital for treatment.

SafeWork NSW said initial investigations indicate the man was standing on a rafter installing ties.
