A B-double truck rolled and crashed into trees, killing two people on the Bruce Highway north Queensland early Wednesday morning.
Police authorities said that a man and a woman were killed when their b-double truck crashed and smashed into the trees at around 1:00 in the morning, 10 kilometres south of Townsville.
The Queensland Fire and Emergency Service crews rushed to the scene of the fatal crash and started removing the bodies from the wreckage.
No other vehicles figured in the incident. Police cordoned the area and an investigation into the incident was conducted.
