Paramedics were called to the farm located along Bungeet Road on Thursday morning about nine o’clock.
It is understood the man in his 50s was struck by a piece of wood and suffered a badly fractured leg.
Paramedics treated the man at the scene before flying him to the Alfred Hospital for further treatment.
Farmers and other agricultural workers make up just 3 percent of the Victorian workforce but – on average – make up 30 percent of workplace fatalities every year.
A total of 27 Victorians were killed in work-related incidents in 2017. This includes 14 deaths from incidents on farms, which is the highest number of farm fatalities since 2004.
