Woman critical after firework incident northwest of Donnybrook

Worksafe is investigating an incident in which a female worker was seriously injured in an incident involving fireworks Sunday night.

It happened in Bunbury, northwest of Donnybrook, about 11.30pm.

Reports indicated the woman in her 60s was working with the fireworks when one of them exploded on her face.

She was transported to a Perth hospital, where she remains in a critical condition in intensive care.
