Nine people killed in quad bike incidents in 2018

There were nine quad bike fatalities in 2018, according to figures from Safe Work Australia.

The State of Queensland led the tally with 4 fatalities, while two fatalities occurred in New South Wales.

The remaining three fatalities occurred in Victoria, Western Australia, and the Northern Territory.

Over half of quad bike fatalities in 2018 involved rollovers.

The ages of those killed in quad bike related incidents in 2018 ranged from 17 to 82, according to Safe Work Australia.

In 2017, there were eleven quad bike fatalities in Australia.
