SafeWork NSW is calling on people involved in the manufacturing business to help them in developing a work health and safety plan for the industry.
“We are developing a work health and safety plan for the NSW manufacturing industry – and we need you to talk to use,” SafeWork said in a statement. “By listening to you, we can build a plan that helps keep everyone safe.”
SafeWork is holding seven free industry workshops from February 1 to 26 and those in the business of manufacturing are invited to join for a conversation on safety in the manufacturing industry.
“By working together, we will deliver on our six-year strategy to reduce worker fatalities by 20 percent; serious injuries and illnesses by 30 percent; and serious musculoskeletal injuries and illnesses by 30 percent,” SafeWork stated.
An online registration is required to join in one of the workshops.
